The pilot and the proposed campus sit in Nampula's stable core, well south of the Cabo Delgado conflict zone. The phased design starts urban on purpose, and displacement trends are watched continuously.
The pilot clinic does not depend on it. Care begins in Nampula City in May 2027 either way, and the site process — community consultation, cadastre, due diligence — runs on its own track.
Friends of Rapha Mozambique (FORMoza), an independent U.S. organization recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 42-3583156). FORMoza makes grants to Rapha Mozambique under written agreements and reporting, and your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
The $3M platform carries Rapha through 2030, to the edge of surgical capability. The hospital build that follows is a larger, longer effort. Comparable institutions have taken roughly a decade and, in Kibuye's documented case, about $9.2M. We would rather you know that now.
